Based in Isla Vista, California, K performed throughout Santa Barbara County.

Hal, Zak, and Mason Kopeikin formed K in the Fall of 2000, enlisting the help of Nick Jennings and Aaron.

We played a variety of music, depending on the crowd and what we're liked at the time.  That usually meant alternative and classic rock, punk, reggae, and softer stuff.  We played 50+ shows in bars, coffee houses, delis, pizza parlors, parks, skate parks, schools, frats and sororities, private parties, charitable events, fundraisers, etc.  

Hal, Zak, and Mason still enjoy playing together on projects. Yet K, in the form represented here, is but a fond memory. Kids grow up, all things must pass, etc.
