If this is an emergency...

The best response in an emergency depends on the kind of help you need, the type of danger,
and so on.  Here are some options to consider in the Santa Barbara area:
  • dial 911 in true emergencies. They can quickly dispatch police, fire, ambulance, or mental health emergency assessment teams.
  • Emergency medical services are available 24 hours a day at Cottage Hospitals in Santa Barbara and Goleta. See their web sites for phone numbers and maps.
  • To speak with a volunteer crisis counselor, call 211 (or 800-400-1572 from a cell phone); available 24 hrs, 7 days a week in English and Spanish (Espanol tambien).

  • I provide various levels of access to clients, depending on their needs (follow the links about Contacting me and my availability).
